Monthly Specials

• Each month there will be a special sale that features either a category of books, such as Science Fiction or Presidential Biographies, or the works of a particular author.
• The pricing on Monthly Specials will vary--for example, some months, books will be sold for $1 each, whether hardback or paperback; other months, it will be Buy-One-Get-One-Free or half off marked price; and so forth.
• Check back next month for the featured special.

Grab Bags of At Risk Books at Books Again
• 7 hardcover fiction books for $3.50.
• Featuring books by less-well known authors, who can be rescued and made famous by your purchases.
• All books published within the last 10 years.

Regularly featured item: Box of pre-selected Romance novels for $5.

6th Semi-Annual Books-by-the-Bag Sale, October 2nd and 3rd, Another Resounding Success

• Encouraged by balmy October weather, hundreds of book lovers crammed over a thousand plastic grocery bags with thousands of books. Over $6,600 worth of books were sold in 3 short days.
• The big difference in the sale was the expanded sales area:
• New wall shelves and free-standing floor shelves enabled Books Again to expand the sales area by over 200 square feet, easing crowding in the non-fiction area.
• Bottom shelves were used for display of coffee-table sized books only, which discouraged anyone from sitting on the floor and kept the passages between shelves open for everyone.
• Added lighting and a strategically-placed fan increased the comfort of book lovers from throughout southern Colorado.
• For the May, 2010, Books-by-the-Bag Sale, one more non-fiction category will be added: Health (which includes diet, exercise and medicine) will join computers, history, religion and cookbooks.
